Mohammad Saleh Zarepour

I am a Lecturer at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Manchester. I was an associate member (February 2022 - July 2023) and earlier a Postdoctoral Research Fellow (October 2020 - January 2022) at the Global Philosophy of Religion Project at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Birmingham. I was also a Humboldt Postdoctoral Researcher at Munich School of Ancient Philosophy (April 2019 - September 2020). I received a PhD in Philosophy at Tarbiat Modares University, Iran in 2015 and another in Theology and Religious Studies at the University of Cambridge in 2019. My research interests include medieval Islamic philosophy, philosophy of religion, philosophy of language, philosophy of mathematics, and philosophy of logic. I am on the editorial boards of Logic, Epistemology, and the Unity of Science (a Springer book series), Religious Studies (a CUP journal), AGATHEOS (a recently launched open access journal for philosophy of religion). In recognition of my  work, I was awarded a 2023 Philip Leverhulme Prize in Philosophy and Theology.
